Application:
Tube heat exchanger is important equipment in the process flow of industries such as oil refining, chemical industry and electric power. According to statistic, this equipment accounts for about 40% of the whole static equipment in the refineries. It is main equipment in the process and also main method for enterprise to reduce energy consumption and lower the cost.
Construction:
The tube heat exchanger is made up of main components of channel, shell and tube bundle etc. The tube bundle is the core of shell and tube heat exchanger, the heat exchanger tube as the component of thermal conductivity decides the thermodynamic performance of heat exchanger. Another basic component which has a bigger affection on the thermodynamic performance of heat exchanger is baffle plate. Channel and shell mainly decide the carrying capacity of shell and tube heat exchanger and safety reliability of operation.
Working Principle
Tube heat exchanger belongs to surface heat exchanger whose fluid access in the heat exchanger tube is called tube side and the fluid access outside the heat exchanger tube is called shell side. When the tube side and the shell side respectively pass through two kinds of fluid at different temperature, the fluid temperature transfers the heat to the fluid with lower temperature through the wall of heat exchanger tube. The fluid with higher temperature is cooled and the fluid with lower temperature is heated, thus the heat exchange between the two fluids is achieved.
